Born Avril Ramona Lavigne Whibley on September 27, 1984, she has sold more than 30 million copies of her albums worldwide. In 2006, Lavigne made her film debut in the animated film Over the Hedge as the voice of the character Heather, a Virginia Opossum. In 2008, Avril also ventured in entrepreneurship, launching the clothing line Abbey Dawn.

Avril Lavigne married fellow Canadian and singer of Sum 41, Deryck Whibley on July 15, 2006.

She stands 5'2" tall and wears size 7 shoes.
